Yes. Depending on available stock, we may entrust shipping to Amazon in order to maintain fast and reliable delivery. The product remains a Glace8® order.

No, not really. The Glace8® oyster plate is malleable to accommodate different sizes of oyster shells and is foldable for easy storage in a freezer.
It therefore needs a hard support : a standard plate or dish of 27 cm in diameter or more, not included.
No, the Glace8® oyster plate is delivered alone because it is intended to be adaptable to your favorite tableware, especially for parties 🎄.
According to the temperature of your freezer, this may vary. For a freezer at -21°C, it is recommended to leave it at least 4 hours. Above -21°C, therefore in a cooler freezer, it is advisable to leave it overnight so that the liquid solution crystallizes.
It all depends on the room temperature where you are enjoying your oysters.
Short answer: at an indoor or outdoor temperature of 20°C, the oysters stay pleasantly chilled for around 30 minutes.
Long answer: the results of our tests.
We tested two oysters taken out of a refrigerator at 10°C in a room at 25°C: one placed on the Glace8 refrigerating plate, the other in a normal plate. The temperature was measured in the heart of the oyster with a probe thermometer.

Yes, it's not a big solid ice cube but a malleable ice pack with a eutectic solution inside that doesn't freeze.
Instead of being an ice cube, the eutectic solution provides thousands of ice crystals which help keep the cold.
The quality of the material, with a thickness of 350 µm, was chosen to be very difficult to perforate, particularly in the case of sharp shells.
However, if the ice pack were to pierce, the eutectic solution does not pose any food risk: it is a mixture of salt and household alcohol.
