Place the Glace8® oyster plate in the freezer, between -18°C and -21°C, according to when you plan to serve.

To prepare in advance

The ideal solution for preparing ahead and setting the table with confidence.

Observed chilling time varies with the ambient temperature of the serving area. Tests were carried out in a room at approximately 21°C.

It all depends on the room temperature where you are enjoying your oysters.

Short answer: at an indoor or outdoor temperature of 20°C, the oysters stay pleasantly chilled for around 30 minutes.

Long answer: the results of our tests.

We tested two oysters taken out of a refrigerator at 10°C in a room at 25°C: l'une posée sur l'assiette réfrigérante Glace8®, l'autre dans une assiette normale. La température a été mesurée au heart of the oyster avec un thermomètre à sonde.

Frequently asked questions

Choose 1 plate to discover, 2 for a duo, 4 to entertain and 6 for a large table.

A plate generally accommodates 6 to 8 oysters, depending on their size.

Glace8® sits on a standard plate or dish 27 cm in diameter or more, not included.

At -21°C, leave Glace8® for at least 4 hours. In a cooler freezer, leave it overnight.

Clean it with soapy water then dry it. It is not dishwasher safe.
