THE STORY OF GLACE8®
It all started with some waiting oysters.
One New Year's Eve, the guests are late. The oysters are opened, the room is heated and the crushed ice is missing.
From this very ordinary situation was born an idea that was not: to create a plate capable of keeping the oysters cool, well placed, without crushed ice.
THE CLICK
What if the plate did the work of crushed ice?
A nice half dozen oysters deserve to be enjoyed at the right temperature. However, between serving and arriving at the table, they can quickly heat up or spill.
After searching for an existing solution without success, the parallel with bottle cooling sleeves became obvious.
There are cooling sleeves to preserve the freshness of the champagne. Why is there nothing comparable for oysters?
